Create Accurate Customer Personas
You remember the gangs in schools, since the “jocks”, the “nerds” and “geeks? “These groups are linked by their common interests, the activities they have participated and all the things that were most important to them. Although you can not find the term any clique had a different personality. At the last election that we often hear the term “soccer moms” and “Joe the plumber. These are people, as campaign managers and personally addressed each during the campaign.
As a business owner line, it is very important that your own people. Only then can you accurately and efficiently deliver your message and your brand. Let’s say you sell shoes and bring a wide range of styles. You could create a character for each style of shoes that you sell. One for the athlete that you have shoes that can help is to excel in their sport, a businesswoman who often opts for style over comfort, and one for the soccer mom who buys shoes for her children. They all need a different type of shoe – and something different sales approach.
Can more than one person at the same address? A well-designed site allows you to do. Although I usually do not recommend the use of stock photos on a website under the photo of a mother hen with three children to fit in the van of the family of the mother in the eye and say they came to the right place. Or a picture of a game of basketball is perceived by both professional athletes and weekend.
In both cases you will need to better define their personas. The soccer mom is not just everyday shoes for their children, football, baseball and basketball for these activities. You probably want all the shoes from the same place, if possible, for convenience and price are your priorities. Although the athlete weekend made his life worth living outside the sport, he wants the best shoes he can afford, and often even those who supported his favorite poet, the professional players.
Then start your own personas. I suggest you build a list of at least six important characteristics for each. They call it “the profile of clients’ well if you want to define them, but establish a marketing strategy for each. Not only do you see a bump in the initial sales charge, but in the long-term distribution, too.
